John Quiles gave his heart to the Lord at the age of thirteen while watching a Billy Graham crusade, but it was not until 1977, when he was spiritually born again at the age of twenty-one, that John actually began to pursue a life of faith. In time, John fell away from the Lord and struggled for years in his walk with God. The struggle eventually left John feeling disillusioned and defeated. Frustrated and at the end of his rope, longing for spiritual victory in his life, John sought the Lord for answers and ultimately found the truth he was missing. What the Lord revealed, gave John the spiritual victory that he lacked for so long. Discovering the Hebraic roots of the Christian faith was an eye-opening experience for John that he describes as “almost akin to meeting the Lord for the very first time.” John says, “it has not only opened up an entirely different world of understanding in the Scriptures for me, it has literally changed my life.”
John is a Messianic believer and is ordained with the International Assemblies of God Fellowship. He has taught at churches and Bible fellowships of various denominations both in and outside of the United States since 1978. He is known for the simple yet profound and compelling way in which he brings out the truth of God’s word. His passions include introducing the lost to Jesus (Yeshua) the Hebrew Messiah, acquainting Christians with the Hebraic roots of their faith and thus introducing them to a deeper understanding of God’s word, and encouraging God’s people to live biblically sound and godly lives in light of our Lord’s soon return.
